NO MORE IV TREATMENTS! We saw Dr. C on December 18 and after he thoroughly examined her and reviewed her lab work, he asked her if she'd like to stop the IV treatments. Jordan was so surprised, all she could do was look at me. After I repeated the question, she quickly said yes. IT WAS A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS GIFT! We had a great month. Jennifer came home from college on the 11th and was able to spend a great deal of time with Jordan. It was wonderful to have Jennifer's "always smiling" face back home. On top of Jordan's great medical news and having Jen home, Jordan also made the basketball team. That was an accomplishment I was concerned about. Jordan has been doing very well, but she seems to be a little behind for her age in strength and running speed. She continues to grow and now weighs 92 lbs. She does have classmates about her size, however most are a good head taller.

Im a little behind in the diary entries, but will tell you anyway...........todays date is January 15 and Jordan has already played one game and one tournement. Even though they didnt win, she played very well. She is a starter on the B team. We are so proud of her.

We will see Dr. C on January 22 and pray that her exam and lab work will show continued improvement.

I'd like to again thank my Aunt Pat. For those of you that dont know, she designed the entire diary. She selects all the beautiful backgrounds, borders and pictures. She has had so many compliments on her work, not only on Jordan's diary, but the many web pages she's designed. She's finally, after much needed encouragement, offering her services to everyone.
