December has been a very busy month for us. I guess you can tell since it's already December 29th and I'm just now making December entries.
We saw our optomotrist on November 30th and Jordan is truly enjoying her blue contacts. I'm not as excited, as I'm used to my children having brown eyes. But I'm getting used to it, I guess. He said she does have a small cateract in each eye but has shown no signs of growth. Now that she is off Prednisone, the odds are great that they will stay the same.
December 7th we saw Dr. C again. Her rash looks about the same as last month and her cuticles appear worse. He said both are signs of active disease. He increased her Methotrexate to 6 tablets a week. She'd been taking 4.
She continues to be active and is capable of doing what ever she pleases physically. She's been very good about using sun screen as well as the ointments for her rash. Some days the rash looks better than others. We are hoping the Methotrexate will take control. I guess we'll know more in January.
Jordan had a wonderful time during her Christmas vacation. She played with my youngest brothers little boys, went shoping with my oldest brothers daughters and played with my nephew's 9 month old son. She had hoped to see my sister's children, but they didnt get to make it to our family Christmas.
Please continue to pray for Jordan and all the others. I hope that God watches over each and every one of you throughout the New Year.
