and all kinds of other safety courses to the public.

Co-operation between all members, both inside and outside Thailand, to improve life-saving techniques and technology.  

Create knowledge and awareness of fire prevention and life saving techniques  within government and other public organizations.   

To continuously promote the techniques of Fire and Rescue in order to bring awareness  of international standards to the public as rapidly as possible.  

New instructors will be trained in the techniques of firefighting and life-saving, they  will be of a very high quality, and will be of outstanding use to the nation.  

To keep and support the principle of voluntary work high in the public's mind.   

To engender the international aspect of FARA with the thai youth  volunteers by  

"Young Firefighters Project" 

Actively promote life-saving and fire prevention activities.   

Establish and keep the co-operation of all national and 
governmental agencies.

Activities FARA have 6 main activities as follow:

YOUNG FIREFIGHTERS PROJECT .
 
The motto is:
Safety  Through Ethical Value 
This project aims to produce safety awareness among 10-12 year olds at no expense . The event is held over two days every three months. 
We train youths on the following: Fire prevention, discipline training using bare hands, simple firefighting drills, fire escape procedures 
( using ' Fire Escape Device ' from high rise buildings ) first aid / CPR, the dangers of narcotics, and charitable activities. As part of the Fire Prevention and Safety Education program, we use
the ' Learn Not To Burn curriculum '  from the NFPA
( National Fire Protection Association )  of the united States. Youths who have undergone the first course can continue to others such as: 
 
  • Self-defense ( martial art ) 
  • Climbing down from high-rises buildingby rappelling ( snap links ) 
  • Helicopter rescue 
  • Marine rescue 
  • Camping
  • Weapon safety

DISABLED SAFETY  PROJECT 
Our experience has shown that disabled people are the most vulnerable in case of fire, and that is the reason
why FARA provide basic knowledge of fire and teach them how to save their lives by themselves
and how to use different kinds of fire extinguisher.

FIRE AND RESCUE  TRAINING CENTRE 
This service provides training in fire prevention,
use of fire extinguishers, rescue operations, firstaid CPR,  to
interested organizations such as hospitals,  schools, factories etc. to upgrade their safety standard .

SAFETY ENGINEERING 
INFORMATION SERVICE
FARA provide free information such as, safety device installation instruction ( smoke / heat detectors,
fire alarms, sprinkler systems etc.) safe building planning and how to equip more safety devices
or reconstruct old buildings at low cost.

INTERNET RESCUE 
The co-operation project on information, knowledge of Global  disaster relief by internet.

for all in the world not only Thailand.

Membership
.
  • Member will be able to join any aspect of the FARA campaign they wish (eg: Young FirefightersCourse,Firefighting Course, Helicopter Rescue, High Building Fire Rescue )
  • Twice a year, members will be able to meet and learn techniques involved in fire prevention and life-saving. 
  • Member will be provided with printed information relating to the FARA news, Safety,Fire prevention and new Safety device.
  • FARA will provided the funds necessary for members whose selected to attend seminars relevant to the organizations needs, including overseas training once a year.
  • Special Training fees will be allowed for members. 
  • All members will have full rights in the management of FARA. 
  • Members will have free advice regarding fire prevention in their properties,Fire and Safety Curriculum and other life-saving devices.
