Entering a small weyr, you blink hard, trying to get your eyes to adjust. You notice little flickers on the walls and the ceiling, and how quiet it is. Then, behind you, there's a rustling noise. You whirl around, tripping over what seems to be a small chair, and land on something long and soft. "Oh!" you hear a girl exclaim,"Where did you come from?"

"I'm just a traveller looking at the surrounding weyrs." you say to her, he soft voice still ringing in your ears. She stands up and lights a small torch, revealling the small weyr to you. The walls are covered with crystals and gems, glimmering in the light.

"My name is Angelic," she says to you, walking over to help you up, her golden hair shinning in the dim light, her crystal blue eyes gleaming. "I'm sorry you tripped over Salimnith here, sometimes I even trip over her tail." tail? you think to yourself. Then you notice what you tripped over is a long, green tail. You stammer back, getting a good look at the rest of the dragon laying on a dragon couch.



"Oh, don't be afraid! She is big though, isn't she? She's really wonderful!" Angelic says and moves closer to you, letting you see her medium height and figure. "Her eggs hatched a while ago, so now we're free to go on searchrides again. I am, of course, the head searchrider here. She's a powerful little green, I'll tell you. She likes to talk to G'vernor, her mate's rider. Menorth sure is a big brown, isn't he Salimnith?." she says and smiles at her huge beauty. Of course he is Angelic! He's going to become wing second too! I just know it! Salimnith replies. Angelic giggles and pats her friend.

"Yes, I think he will too. G'vernor is a wonderful man, I think he and Menorth are perfect to be wing second." she says and blushes a bit.



A little firelizard pops out from between and lands on the table next to you. "That's Jewel's blue Twich. I need to go see what our weyrwoman needs, I am the Head Searchrider, you know." she says and smiles while patting her green dragon. Salimnith waddles out to the sunning ledge of her weyr and lays her massive head down. I really do like Menorth traveller. He is a strong brown, and a gentle one too. she thinks before lidding her huge eyes.
