You walk on, the bright morning sun shinning thought the weyrbowl. The dark enterence of a nearby weyr draws you close. You step up to it and look inside. Nothing can be seen, since the sun hasn't come up completely. You look behind you just as a beautiful runner runs past with his rider holding on tightly so he doesn't fall off. Such a beautiful runner, you think to yourself.



To your surprise, they keep going by, never stopping. You shake your head and walk on. You enter the weyr and look around. A few chairs and a bed can be made out, but it's still pretty dark. You keep walking and trip over something long and soft. Two glowing spots appear about a dragonlength away, and you stumble backwards. A dragonlength away?? It is a dragon! You stumble backwards again and hear a voice in your head say Don't be scared traveller, it's just me, Balinoth, D'non's bronze weyrmate. I'm sorry I scared you. Have I really grown that big since you last saw me? asks the huge bronze. He steps into the light so you can see what he looks like.



D'non is going to visit Deanna and Valinath right now, but he'll be back later. As you can see traveller, I'm now an adult, and can fight thread if I need to. Jewel said I'm the biggest bronze in the weyr so far, and that I can outfly any brown. But, right now I'm very tired. You can look around if you'd like though. he thinks, and lays back down. You see a desk with two books on it.

You hear something fly in the weyr and look up. It's a little brown firelizard. He lands on D'non's shoulder who is just now coming back.



"Hello traveller, Balinoth is sound asleep I see, and I'm going to be taking Deanna somewhere today. She's rider of gold Valinath, and my weyrmate. I just stopped back to get something. But please do come back sometime!" he says. You turn and leave the weyr.
