Lunch in the Park is a Business Luncheon Club which meets on the second Friday of each month.

The club's name comes from the normal venue for meetings,
Chalkwell Park Rooms, which overlooks the main open area of Chalkwell Park in Southend-on-Sea.

The main intentions of the club meetings are;

• Social contact between local Businessmen
• A break from the day to day routine of business
• An informal atmosphere rather than the serious formality of clubs such as Rotary, Round Table, etc.
