How come I've never heard of Flint River Ranch?
Two reasons:
A - Because it's not sold in stores, nor do the manufactuers sell directly or have an official website. FRR is sold soley by independent distributors, like myself.
B - Human-grade natural ingredients don't come cheap. The makers of Flint River Ranch choose to spend their money on high quality ingredients instead of advertising. In order to keep FRR affordable something has to give, and those fancy commercials - though convincing - are just not worth it.

How do I make the switch?
No matter how good the food you're switching to is, stomach upsets can occur with a sudden change to your pets' diet.
The best way to introduce new food is to do it slowly over a period of time. (How long exactly will depend on your individual pets sensitivity.) Start by replacing small amounts of your pets current food with FRR. Increase the FRR and decrease their old food a bit every day. Check stools - if they're getting soft, you're moving too fast.

How much should I feed dogs over 100 pounds?
The feeding guides on pet food bags are meant to be just that, a guide. The amount of food any dog requires depends on many factors. (Such as age, size, health, activity level, etc.)
I would start by feeding 20% less than the amount you fed on the previous diet. (Since FRR is calorie dense, your pet won't need as much.) Watch and see how your dog's weight progresses and adjust accordingly. If he's gaining - feed less, if he's losing - feed more.
