Miracles

Miracles happen all the time, all around us. Ive
seen God provide miraculously, heal in times of sickness,
give grace in times of sorrow...from what Ive seen many
people have forgotten that these are God's miracles just
as much as the more sensational miracles that Jesus
performed while He was here on earth. Once I was in a
chat room and a guy asked if anyone wanted to share some
miracles God had done in their life recently. I started
to share with him how God had kept two girls in our church
alive and healed them after they had been in a very
serious car accident. The doctors were amazed that they
had survived, and then that they were not left vegetables.
Because of this miracle in our church quite a few people
were saved. This guy in the chat room did not want to hear
about my story, he said he wanted to talk about real
miracles. I assume he meant it was only a miracle if a guy
hit soomebody over the head and the person fell down in a
faint. This was one of those times I had to remind myself
of that verse about not being offended that I mentioned up
above! How sad it is when Christians cannot even
recognize a true miracle when God sends one!

We do not believe in needing to go to a specific person in
order to obtain miraculoous healing...God answers my
prayers just as readily as He answers anyone else's. We
also believe that God does not always heal in the way we
think He should...when He brings one of His own children
home to heaven that child is healed immediately in Heaven
and is now free of pain forever.

Some have said to me that God never changes! and because of
that undisputed fact God always heals if we just have enough
faith or go to the right faith healer.
I agree, God never changes, but that does not mean His
methods do not vary based on individuals or times. For instance,
I only know of one person who was convicted in the way the
Apostle Paul was. That was a method that God used on Him and
may not ever repeat.
Don't forget my friend, God's healing can take place either
here or in heaven, according to His will. We must always be
open to the will of God and not assume that we can go around
telling God what to do.
