Scout, pictured with his best buddy Ralph Johnson of Exeter, New Hampshire, is a field-bred Springer, and happily for him Ralph is a bird-hunter. Scout's other best buddy, Nancy Johnson, is a nature lover who enjoys a nice long walk in the woods with him. Scout was born in October of 1995, in Monmouth, Maine and was brought to his new home in December. His sire is AFC/CFC Ossipee Mountain's KaBoom and his mom is Grouse Wing Autumn Lady, who has the great springer Saighton's Scud listed in her pedigree along with numerous other field champions. To date, Scout has sired 14 beautiful and healthy ESS pups. Scout is a very smart and lightening-fast guy but is also a loving and affectionate baby. He is considered by some to be very spoiled, allowed to get on the furniture and even sleep in his owners' bed! Scout is his family's pride and joy, a real member of the family, and living proof (to them, anyway) that English Springer Spaniels are the very best dogs in the world!
