| Here Comes Felicia! There is a cute site on the web that you can adopt orphans at. We stopped by one day and thought it was a good idea. The kids and I had a fun time setting up this page. In fact after adopting in cyberspace we actually went to the SPCA and adopted a dog. He has become a big part of our lives. His name is Pepsi and he is "something" with a bit of Shelty. The kids adore Pepsi and he has come a long way from that timid, abused, and quiet dog we brought home! Now he is noisy and full of energy. He wrestles and chases and yaps with the kids. It just proves that a little love can rescue anything. I was a bit scared getting a dog that noone knew any history on and taking him home to kids but the SPCA does a wonderful job of screening the animals and the vet assures me he is perfectly healthy and normal in temperment. In fact this dog is nothing but a big suck really! After we had Pepsi for a few months one day I was offered a Hedgehog for free. At first I thought yuck... I mean they look weird! The lady practically talked me into it*L* So I brought the silly thing home. The kids were gone for the weekend and by the time they came home from daddy's I really thought this animal was a dumb idea. He did nothing. Never even moved. We barely saw his head for weeks (they tuck it in when sleeping or scared). Once he got used to his new home and stuff though.... talk about hilarious. This is one adorable pet! He is so funny, he still looks weird though but I'll even let him wander the house now. Once he was out and I wasn't thinking and he crawled on my foot and licked my toe! I nearly had a heart attack but so long as I don't step on him I'll be happy*G* These guys will likely have thier own page soon but for now they must share this space with ... oh my I never introduced our orphaned cyber pet bunny.
