*NOVEMBER 23* I also recieved a phone call from a tv show here in Seattle called "Evening Magazine". They are interested in my story! They are going to help me look for my fathers brother and sister. Is that cool, or what???

*JANUARY 14, 1999* I got an e-mail from the "Evening Magazine" people the other day. I guess they are still interested in my story afterall.
Also, I wanted to know if there were any people out there that wanted to share their stories. If you do...let me know. I want to add more to my page, and I thought it might be a good idea if I put some other peoples stories here, for other people to read. Sometimes it helps to know that there are others out there that share some of the same feelings as you do. Anyway, e-mail me if you do!!
I found my biological mom today!! I got an e-mail from her, in it she said that she wanted to talk via e-mail or a third person. I guess that is a little dissapointing, but to be expected. I am soo excited, shocked, happy, scared.....everything all rolled into one!! But this is definitely a good thing!!
I got an e-mail from my mom yesterday, and this one was even better than the first!! She gave me her phone number and signed it "mom"!!! I called her, but I got an answering machine. So I left a message. But she called me back. And I heard her voice for the first time. I found out a lot of things. Some good, some bad. The bad news is that I also found out that my birth father is no longer alive. She said that he passed away when I was 10. She did, however, tell me that he has a sister, and a brother that are still alive. I also found out that I have a 15 year old half sister, and a 13 year old half brother.
E-mail is a wonderful thing!!! Today I recieved an e-mail from my little sister. She gave me her phone number, and told me to call her when I got it. In her e-mail she seemed excited to know that I had found them, and that she couldnt wait to meet me. I am hoping to go there after the first of the year. I called her then, we only talked for a few minutes, but it was so nice. Its like I have a whole new family again!!
I have been talking to my sister through e-mail almost everyday now. And yesterday I talked to my brother for the first time, and the other day I talked to their dad! They are all so wonderful. And, the best thing is.....this Saturday (Dec.5) I am going to meet them all for the first time ever! I also talked to my mom this morning (for the 2nd time) She said she is nervous to meet me, but so am I :) I will let you all know what happens when I come home on Monday!!!
Today I leave for Montana, to go meet my biological family! I also found my biological aunt today, my dads little sister. I talked to her, and she said that she was happy that I had found her. She lives in Tennessee. She wants me to send her some pictures, and she said that she will send me some pictures of my dad! I am excited!!
Today is Tuesday, I got back from Montana yesterday afternoon. I saw my biological mom and sister and brother for the first time! My mom picked me up from the airport, and we drove back to her house. It was so amazing, I don't know how to describe it! It was a little uncomfortable, and I was really nervous (she said she was too). But I guess that's expected. We saw where she lives, it is an itsy bitsy town called Charlo, on the Flathead Indian Reservation. I met her husband, and a lot of his family. I met so many people I can't remember who was who, and who was related to who. We had a good time though. It was a short visit, but I will be visiting there again soon, I hope. I took some pictures, and when I get them developed, I will put them on here, so you all can see me and my mom, and my new family!
Ok, a lot has been happening around here lately, so I haven't had much time to do much with the site. But now I will try and re-cap whats going on.
So far, I have kept in contact with my biological family, everything is still wonderful!! I am going to (hopefully) move there in a few months, so I can live by them. That will be nice!!
Umm, let's see...for those of you who know, I haven't had any contact with my adoptive family in a long time. And my half brother, Christopher, lived with them. Well, he just recently got kicked out, and he called me. So this weekend, he stayed with me. Now he is going to go and move to Montana, to stay with our mom there. He is going tomorrow morning though. So everything had been crazy around here!
And in case you haven't heard yet, I found my dads little sister, and I have talked to her a few times on the phone. She seems really nice, and I hope to meet her soon too. As far as the TV show, I havent heard anything, but thats ok, I don't mind :)
Christopher is doing good in Montana, he is even already on the wrestling team. I am still planning on moving there too. I just need to save money!! After I have more money saved up, then I will be moving there. But don't worry, I will still keep the page, and keep updating it!
For those of you who I haven't told yet, I have decided to write a book about this whole experience. So if any of you have any advice for an amateur writer, let me know!!
