What We're Doing

September 1997

We used our cookie money to take a weekend trip to Galveston Island, we enjoyed the requirements for our Water Fun Patch! Then off we went to Moody Gardens where there is a beautiful 10 story rain forest. We earned our Plants and Animals Patch and then we went to NASA where we earned our Aerospace Patch it was a truely fun trip and we can hardly wait until next big trip!
We are putting together a time capsule and working on our Pet Care patch this month also. We are lucky that our troop leader has just bought 2 horses and we are going to learn about this beautiful animal and how to take care of them.
October
This month we will be having a Pet Crazy Halloween by dressing our pets and ourselves up in costumes and then having a parade. We are going to the local Humane Society to do a Service Project that will go nicely with our Pet Care patch.
