Lisa

Five and a half months after losing Hank, I brought Lisa home in early November 1999. She was returned to her breeder, who called me. Little did I know what I was letting myself in for! Lisa only stops moving when she's sleeping or eating. She's very curious about everything and is very observant. Lisa is not much of a barker unless a squirrel has the audacity to invade her yard. I have to keep a close eye on her during walks because she loves to scoop up rocks, sticks, pine cones and pine cone pieces, and whatever else she can get her mouth on. The bigger things she's content to carry along but she does try to eat the smaller things. I haven't found anything yet that she won't eat :-) And watch out when she's playing with her toys. When she tries to shake a toy to death, don't be nearby or it's bruise city!

Lisa is also a member of PAWS (Pets Are Working Saints), a Christian-based pet therapy group. She started her career in December 1999. She loves visiting and it doesn't matter who is to receive the attention, patients, staff, other pets. She's a social butterfly.

Here I am in my Christmas bandana from my new Aunty Mary Lynn in Arizona. Mom took the picture just before we left to visit nursing homes. It was fun!
