Hi, my name is Alison!

I am 9 years old. My birthday is November 9, 1987. I am in the 4th grade.I like school alot. We do very interesting and fun stuff !! We just finished doing a report on our ancestors and the country they came from. I picked my great-grandfather,he came from Greece. It was fun reading about how different Greece is from the USA. I found out out they have 1,425 islands and people only live on 166 of them. I wrote to a girl in Greece and I am hoping she will write back. I have lots of questions to ask her.

I am a 1st. year Junior this year and I really like it. We have done some great stuff this year. So far we have earned 2 badges and will start working on Music soon. Next week I get $5.00 to go to A.C.Moore's and pick a craft for us to do. I will run the meeting that week. I can't wait. I haven't decided what to look for yet !!! We will also start our Project Linus blankets in a week or 2. I hope I can sew it good !! It is important that it be nice.Our sleepover at Franklin Institute is coming up soon too. That should be great fun.

I have a tiger stripe cat named Waffles and he is my best buddy. I love him lots. I wish you could see him. He's great !!!

So I really like being a scout and so do my friends. My mom & gramma are our leaders and they say they have as much fun as we do !!!! We have been writing to some other troops from around the country and have just started to write to some girls from England. Pen-pals sure are alot of fun. I have some real nice ones !!!.
