Now we are looking at a juniper gold tip. Notice the gold color on the
end of the brances? this is just one varieity of evergreens that have a
golden tinge to the foliage. Other golden varieties are the cypress gold
mop, which forms a mound of really golden foliage. There is also the juniper
gold thread which is green with gold lines through out the plant.
Last
of all we go to the blue shrubs. Of course we have heard of the Colorado
blue spruce. Now you can add
shrubs to accente your blue spruce. Pictured here is the juniper blue
star. This is a favorite for two reasons, of course the color is gorgeous,
but the shrub is compact rarely going over the height of two and a half
feet. Also look for the blue spruce globe for a slightly larger size. If
you are looking for an evergreen ground cover, the creeping, blue rug or
blue pacific are both good choices.
