My favorite memory is, the Pumpkin Buddy Swap.
That was my first ever swap and Paula was my buddy.
We had a great time and have become very good friends.

Hi, Crafty Angel here! When Vickey said that she was going to make a 1 year memory page I just had to come in and say the following: My first experience with mailing lists started right here on HC. I joined the list a couple of weeks after it got started and wouldn't dream of leaving it. I have met the nicest people here! Everyone is so caring and sharing. It truly is like an extended family, because you laugh with others, you cry with others, you pray with others and you give what you can back to others. I have made many close friends thru HC, ones that I will never forget! I always feel like the first thing I have to do when I get home is come to my mailbox to see what has been happening during the day. I don't want to miss one single post! For those that have been here throughout the entirety, you know what I mean. For those that are new to HC, I am so glad that you are here too. Everyone adds so much of themselves to it that it just keeps getting better and better!! My favorite memory is of course, my wedding page that you all made for me!! I finally printed it out...in color ;c)...and it will always remind me of just how nice you all are! Love you and mean it...Mrs. Ken aka Crafty Angel
This past year on holiday chat has been great. I think my favorite memory, actually memories were all the christmas cards I got last year from the list members. It was exciting to see them all come, especially since this was a new group of people. It was so indicative of what a wonderful group of people we are. Ellen
Holiday_Chat was the first email group I joined. Now its the one I would never give up. I have made wonderful friends and some adopted family :). I have learned so many things that have made me grow as a person. HC is not just for crafts but for being a part of the family. HC is a place for fun, caring, compassion and love. This isnt just another email list but a home. I dont know how all the best people that are online ended up in one chat group but they did. I am so grateful to have each of you in my life. I couldnt ever say thanks enough Vickey for the wonderful job you do as list mommy. Its a hard job but you do it so well you make it seem easy. Madonna
It almost seems impossible that we have been fortunate enough to have this terrific list for a year. Happy Birthday HC and HCers. Somehow, I cannot remember being without my HC *family.* I feel that I have been rewarded, over and over again, just by being able to meet with you each day. Your love is encompassing. Your shoulders strong. Your thoughts caring. There is no greater gift than the gift of love. Sometimes, it is difficult to find the time to answer all inquiries, carry on a discussion or participate in the wonderful exchanges.. But, that is because of the lack of my time. (Okay, early resolution - I will (read that WILL) try to learn to organize my time a little better (notice I did not say a lot better). My favorite thing about H_C? The incredible friends I have made. I have to share a story with you all. It's been a bad couple of days around here, I'll share the details in another post. When I got home this afternoon, I found that the mailman had left a package. The return address was a H_C buddy. I opened the package, and found the most beautiful book of Christmas crafts, just beacuse (it wasn't from my secret pal). I just cried. THANK YOU! Someone asked me the other day what the people of H_C were like, I think this says it all. You are the all the best! Alecia (getting all teary again, think it's the hormones?)
