"Tabbyville" is a lovely little place in the woods of Brown County in southern Indiana. There are twenty four of us at last count. Eighteen cats, two dogs, two sugar gliders and two people... The people are obviously necessary to serve the animals!
Nearby towns are Columbus which is noted for its architecture and Bloomington which is the home of Indiana University. Both towns are great to visit, but I'm glad I live right here in Tabbyville.
Indianapolis to the north is home to the Indianapolis Zoo, Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Children's Museum and the Circle Centre. Indy is a sports city with the 500, the Brickyard, the Colts (football), Pacers (basketball), Twisters (soccer), Ice (hockey) and Indians (baseball). It's an OK city-for a city. I like the country myself.

The heart of Brown County is the quaint and very beautiful town of Nashville which is known for its shops full of artwork and crafts. It has always been a popular day trip from Indy, but of late it has grown so big that it takes three days to really check out all the shops. In October Nashville/ Brown County is packed full of people enjoying the scenery. Brown County State Park is Indiana's largest and is very beautiful especially with the fall colors.

Let me wax poetic about Sonia Dada. Sonia Dada is a band of eight members from Chicago. The vocalists are Paris Delane, Michael Scott and Sam Hogan backed by five musicians of incredible talent. Dan Pritzker is the creative genius. The music is r&b, rock, gospel, reggae, etc.---it defies category. Melodies and harmonies to die for and so much energy. Seeing them live is a wonderful thing. You'll be drained and euphoric when you leave. They have four CDs out so far the first is self-titled "Sonia Dada" and the second is named "A Day At The Beach", third is "My Secret Life". Number four is "Lay Down and Love It Live". Number five is due very soon. Check them out. You will love them! Guaranteed!

I have always been a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright. I was privileged to take a tour of the fabulous home Fallingwater in Mill Run, PA. This is my favorite of all his wonderful buildings so it was a dream come true. I have also toured the Robie House in Chicago, Unity Temple in Chicago, Taliesin in Spring Green, WI and others.
