    Pizza Burgers

    This recipe was a favorite school lunch of mine when I was in high school. It tastes much better than it sounds and my kids love it!

    Ingredients:

      1 lb. of ground bologna 1/2 stick of softened butter 2 cups of shredded mozzerela cheese 1 jar of pizza sauce 1 cup of ketchup salt and pepper to taste hamburger buns

    Mix ingredients together.

    Lay open hamburger buns out on cookie sheet and spread mixture over each half of bun.

    Heat in 350 degrees oven until hot and bun is lightly toasted, approx. 5 minutes.

    These are quick and easy.

    Kids love them for after school snacks, or serve them with a vegatable for a quick meal.

    Taco Potatoes

    Ingredients:

      baked potatoes shredded lettuce diced tomatoes shredded cheddar cheese sour cream hamburger taco seasoning

    Season the hamburger with the taco seasoning as directed.

    Slice open potatoes and top with taco meat.

    Finish with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.

    Or place all ingredients in separate containers and let each person top their own potatoe with their choice of toppings.

    This is a great one dish meal and so easy.

    Potato-cabbage Casserole

    Ingredients:

      1 1/2 lb potatoes 1 1/2C beer(12oz.) 1/2 lb bacon 1/2C milk 1C onion, sliced 6C shredded cabbage 2 tb flour 1C shredded swiss cheese 1/2tsp thyme 1/2ts salt

    Boil potatoes until tender.

    Slice potatoes; (peeled or unpeeled)set aside.

    Cook bacon in lg skillet until crisp; set aside.

    Saute onion in bacon grease; drain.

    Stir in flour, thyme and salt.

    Gradually add beer and milk; stir over low heat until mixture boils and thickens.

    In 3qt cassrole dish, layer half the cabbage,potatoes, bacon, cheese and sauce. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

    Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

    Uncover and continue baking 15 minutes longer or until cabbage is tender.

    Serves 4

    Pork Chop and Corn Stuffing

    Ingredients

      1 can Campbells golden corn soup 4 boneless pork chops, 3/4" 1/4C finely chopped celery 1/4C finely chopped onion 1tb brown sugar 1/2tsp paprika 1tsp spicy brown mustard 1 1/2C Corn bread stuffing

      Combine soup, celery, onion, paprika, and stuffing.

      In greased baking dish, spoon stuffing mixture. Arrange pork chops over stuffing mixture.

      Combine sugar and mustard; spread evenly over pork chops.

      Bake at 400 degrees for approx. 30 minutes or until chops are tender.

      Serves 4
