THE LADY THAT HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME FOR OVER 46 YEARS
Ramona and I met on Easter of 1956, and we were two kids out with our friends, who really didn't have anyone special in our young lives. We started to date about two weeks after that first meeting, and we found that we were somewhat alike in our family life, and the things we like to do. I guess when you like someone enough, you learn to like whatever the other one does. In our case though, we didn't really have to adjust. Evidently this little lady was the one for me, and I for her.
We went with each other for about one year and we found that our love had blossemed into a commitment for each other, and we decided that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. so I asked her to marry me, and we were married on March 17, 1957, in Beamer Church. It, probaly at that time, was the happiest time of our lives. We found out , that it was the beginning of a life together, as one, through thick and thin, till death do us part. We are still together after 40 years, and still very happy.
