The Dumb, Stupid Baseball Hat Page

Hats are pure poetry!
--Zippy the Pinhead (Bill Griffith)
Nota bene: I realize the title to this page may be somewhat misleading, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Suffice it to say, I do not consider baseball hats to be inherently dumb and stupid. Nor are the baseball hats described below dumb and stupid, at least not all of them. It is, of course, this page which is dumb and stupid.
Right, now that we've cleared that up...
(updated 11/8/2006)

In my career as a sentient human being, I've amassed a goodly number of baseball hats. I don't know why I like them, but I do. I realize there are people out there who possess far more hats, and are far more vigilant and committed to their enterprise than I am. Fine. Let them each do their own Dumb, Stupid Baseball Hat Page. This one's mine.

I'm not An Expert, or A Connoisseur. I find most of mine at yard sales, bargain stores or -- literally -- on the street. There's little rhyme or reason to the selection of hats I own. Some may reflect allegiance to an alma mater, or a favorite team; others, however, might tout failed National Hockey League franchises, horse medicine or dubious forms of popular entertainment.

(For those visitors who do sell, trade and collect baseball hats: Don't make me any offers. As noted above, I get 'em cheap, and that's how I like it.)

Below here you will find a list of the hats I currently own, or did so at one point in time, categorized for your convenience. If there's something more productive you can do during the next few minutes other than read this, for goodness sake, do so.
