Harold Fay b. 1/14/1914 m. Jeanette
Milton Fay b. m. Florence
Census information from 1910 suggests that Lillian may have been the
daughter of Ragnild from her first marriage. Family stories suggest
that Lillian was a half-sister to the other 3 siblings. I'm looking
for help that might help clear this up. Also, earlier information
lists the name Gertrude as a wife to Len Leroy. I have no clue if
this is correct or how it relates to Len.

Family history has Milton Reese Davis marrying Polly Penrod. The two oldest
children were Samuel Henry (B. July 7, 1857) and James Andrew (B. Sept 25,
1859). Since Scott county and Clark county border each other, I'm making the
leap of faith that says the 1860 Census transcripion has changed PENROD into
PARROD. I'm then making a second leap of faith that says the ages in the
1850 Census are not precise. I'm also making a third leap of faith in saying
that Mary was nicknamed Polly which was a common practice in that era.
Anyone able to help me prove or disprove these 'leaps' is welcomed.

Peterson
Alfred Peterson b. 12/15/1869 d. 2/6/1923
married
Bessie Nelson b. 8/13/1871 d. 12/7/1959
Alfred was born on the Island of Oland off the Eastern shore of Sweden. His
name at birth would have been Alfred Petterson since his fathers' name was
Petter Persson. Had Alfred stayed in Sweden his children may well have had
the last name Alfredson.
Alfreds' parents were Britt-Liss and Petter Persson. Alfreds' last name
became Peterson when he came to America. Family members that stayed in
Sweden moved away from the farm, at which time they all took new last names.
Alfred's family members are:
Johan Petter Soderberg
Frederick Peterson
August Theodore Soderlund
Maria Kristina Hagberg
Emma Lenartson
Sigrid Karolina Petterson
Of the other brothers and sisters, only August, Maria, Emma and Sigrid had
children. August and Maria each had a daughter but neither had any children.
Emma is supposed to have had 7 children. One of them, Lilly Petre, is said
to have been a performer in the opera. Sigrid is the only other sibling to
have come to America. She married Karl Lyunjquist.
