My grandson Jake and I love to visit the animals on the farm. Why don't you come along with us on our visit? Jake's favorite animal is the cow. So let's all go visit the cow first. We all know that the cow says moo moo.
As we continue our walk we see a duck. The duck is going quack quack. This makes Jake giggle. Are you giggling too? Further along a cute dog comes up and starts to follows us. Jake and Grandma listen to the dog say bow wow. Everyone seems to like the dog so we invite him to come along with us. Look Jake! Look everyone! Up by that tree. There is a beautiful bird flying in the sky. Can you hear him going tweet tweet? As we are looking up at the sky we also notice an owl sitting in the tree. I point to the owl and tell Jake that the owl says hoot hoot. Look real hard at the tree I tell Jake and everyone. Can you see it? Up on the other side of the tree from the owl was a mommy bird sitting on her nest chirpping to her new babies. Isn't that a wonderful sight? I had lots of fun here at the barnyard Jake tells me. Then he looks up at me with those big brown eyes, smiles, and says, "But can we go to the zoo next time."
