About 1 year ago, we finally got up the courage to get another St Bernard. We let him pick us. And pick us, he did. We named him Conan. Conan has always been a very spirited dog from the first moment we saw him. He is now 1 year old and he is still very spirited, energetic, and very spoiled!! He is a big part of our family. We still love Hercules very much, but Conan has helped us heal a lot from when we lost Hercules. Conan is going to share this page with Hercules because they both are a very big part of our families lives!!!!

Heaven's Doggy-Door

My best friend closed his eyes last night,
As his head was in my hand.
The Doctors said he was in pain,
And it was hard for him to stand.

The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And OH...his many charms.

Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.

But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

We love you and miss you Hercules.

This is Hercules when he was just a baby, this is when we first got him in February of this year.
