Hills Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church, South was registered on December 8, 1892. About seven hundered people attended the dedication which was given by Bishop Cook.
In the 1940's the church and cemetary had to be physically relocated due to the construction of TVA's Douglas Dam and the flooding of many of the valleys around here. At that time, Hills Chapel merged with Pleasant Hill Methodist and became Hills Union. The Pleasant Hill cemetary was combined with Hill's Chapel's and both were moved to the new location.

Youth Meeting 5:00 (We have a great time!)
Child's Adventure - Children's program exploring the Bible. All children are welcome to attend.

First Wednesday of Each Month Thursday:
