My Mom, Dad, Michael and I went on a road trip just recently, in search of a place that I had seen on a brochure.
What was on the brochure showed a big, old barn that claimed to be full of antigues.
We took the long way, taking small backroads and enjoying the beautiful countryside.
I'll give you easy direction in a bit!
When we arrived, it was just like the brochure said! A big old barn that has been converted to three floors of wonderful treasures to explore!
Which I set to doing right away! After an hour or so I lost track of Mom and Michael, so stepped outside to look around for them.
Now, if you're one of those folks, like me, who can spend hours meandering thru flea markets, yard sales and antique malls, then you'll understand this next part.
When I started looking around for my kin, I noticed that I was in a small town, with wonderfully restored houses and shops......and ALL of the shops were advertising Antiques for sale!
I thought I had died and gone to shoppers heaven!
I collect primitive antiques. Right now I'm shopping to decorate my woods and gardens. And this place is loaded with what I'm looking for!
So ya know where I'll be found for several weekends to come!
So if you're in Kentucky, come on down to Glendale! I'll be the one with the pickup that's loaded down with what looks like junk, but will look great nestled amoung trees with wonderful flowering plants growing out of or up or around the junk!
To get to Glendale, Ky. take I65 to exit 86..go West off the exit about 2 miles and there you are! Easy!
Below you will find a sample of what is available in Glendale.
