Seven Nations is the most popular Celtic Rock band in America today !

When I first saw the band, at Shawnee Mountain, in 1996 they were known as "Clan Na Gael" and the members of the band were :

Kirk McLeod - vocals, keyboard, guitars and highland bagpipes.

Neil Anderson - vocals, highland and uilleann bagpipes, scottish smallpipes, tinwhistles and mandolin.

Struby - vocals, acoustic and bass guitars.

Nick Watson - vocals, drums and percussion.

When I saw them, again at Shawnee Mountain, in 1997 they had changed the name of the band to "Seven Nations". This is a reference to the seven major nations of the Celtic world...... Eire (Ireland), Cymru (Wales), Kernow (Cornwall), Galicia in Spain, Briezh (Brittany), Alba (Scotland) and Mannin (The Isle of Man).

In 1997 Nick Watson left the band and......

Ashton Geoghagan took over drums and percussion.

In November 1998 Neil Anderson, one of the founding members, left the band. Check out the Neil Anderson Fan Page to see what he is doing now.

In 1999 two new members joined the band:

Scott Long - plays the highland bagpipes.

Dan Stacey - plays the fiddle and dances.

I really like these guys and I go to see them whenever I can. The longest distance I traveled was to Sumter, South Carolina in February 1999 for the Homecoming celebration. I hope you like the following pictures. I will add new ones as I can.

This is me and Ashton Geoghagan. He's a really nice guy and a good drummer.

This is me and Kirk McLeod. He does vocals and plays various guitars, keyboard and the highland bagpipes. I'm holding the drum sticks that my friend Ashton gave me.

This is me and Les. He does a really good job by keeping everything running smoothly while the band performs.
NOTE: Les left the band in December 1998. I'm going to miss him, he was so sweet!

This is me and Kirk McLeod again. He's soooo cute, I can't stand it!!!

This is me and my new friend Dan Stacey and my old friend Ashton Geoghagan. Dan joined the group this year (1999), he plays the fiddle and dances. Ashton plays drums and percussion.

This is me and my friend Les. Les came back to work for the band in August 1999. I'm really glad he's back. I hope his girlfriend doesn't get jealous!
