Take this dove and place it on your pages
To show your support for Cancer research and
Survivors everywhere.... and for those who soar with angels now.
The following links in the first section will take you to various sites dealing with the detection, diagnosis and management of breast cancer. Just click and go. Use your back button to return. Some of these links exist to disspell myths and give encouragement to one living with this disease. The second section will contain links dealing with lung cancer, to be followed by general cancer links and resources. The last section is an inspirational section filled with beautiful stories and poetry that expresses all the emotions that dwell within the heart of one who faces cancer. This section is a "healing salve" for your soul! Please take a moment to scroll down this entire page before beginning to surf. I don't want you to miss a thing! May the Lord bless and equip you for this journey.
Cancer is so limited.....
It cannot cripple love.
It cannot shatter hope.
It cannot corrode faith.
It cannot eat away peace.
It cannot destroy confidence.
It cannot kill friendship.
It cannot shut out memories.
It cannot silence courage.
It cannot invade the soul.
It cannot reduce eternal life.
It cannot quench the spirit.
It cannot lessen the power of
the RESURRECTION!
Daisies on this page are specially placed in loving remembrance of my mama.

ONCOLINK AUTOMATED E-MAIL DISCUSSION GROUP SUBSCRIBER This is a listing of e-mail support groups you can join. I strongly recommend searching through this list and finding a group that will understand what you are going through. The support found here can be a lifeline and so much encouragement.
LYMPHOMA INFORMATION NETWORK This is a comprehensive guide to Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma... an excellent site, easy to navigate and loaded with information.
POETRY FOR CANCER PATIENTS This is a lovely site that so adequately expresses the many emotions of the heart that faces cancer. The poems are both hopeful and realistic, and deal with the highs and lows encountered in the battle against cancer.
I hope you will find these links to be a great tool in learning more about cancer and how to fight and win against it. If you know of sites that should be on this list in addition to these, please e-mail me with the URL and I'll be glad to check it out, and add it to the list. An e-mail link is below.
Precious one, if you are suffering the ravages of cancer in your body, remember that cancer is limited in its' destructive capabilities. It can never destroy your soul. Keep hope in your heart as you fight. Many have beaten impossible odds with faith and hope.
And if you are feeling helpless as you are walking with a loved one through the valley of the shadow, keep hope in your heart also. You have the privilege of helping bear the heavy burden; easing that load with love, caring, understanding, laughter, tears & friendship. Remember that God alone knows the number of our days. No human can predict our time. This has been proven over and over as those who were given up for dead, have overcome this disease and lived to make mockery of cancer. Don't be afraid to walk through this valley with a friend. You will receive a very special blessing meant only for those who have the courage to go there. God will give you a special measure of love and grace to get through it.
Would you please take time to sign my guestbook before moving on? I'd love to know you were here!
PLEASE e-mail if you know of additional links that would be helpful to others. This is by no means an exhaustive list! Thank you for taking the time to help others along the way!
Do you need more cancer support and encouragement? Please click this banner and go to "Legacy Of Hope!" You'll find it to be a place of hope and encouragement, where you can meet others going through this valley also. Legacy cares about you!
