Child abuse is a tragedy.

 Each day, the hope of a child 

who has been abused or neglected

 is challenged by the very


real prospect that this horrify-


Children don't deserve the devastation of abuse. 

Although child abuse is invisible to many of us,

 it exists inside the


silent, helpless victims that it affects.

 Child abuse, many times, 

is the result of a perpetuating cycle,

 spanning

generations of parents who do not understand

 their roles and responsibilities to their children. 




Parents deserve to become better educated 

on how to be more loving to their children.Abusive parents are not
uncaring individuals.


 They are often depressed, 

dependent persons 

who do not deal effectively with life's stressful

challenges.
 
They are usually isolated and lonely.

 They suffer from a low self-esteem,

 and in many cases, were


abused as children.

 Without an appropriate parent role model,

 their cycle of abuse continues 

when the parents take
out their frustrations on children.

 Sometimes fatally . .




 Each year, and estimated 3.1 million children 

are reported as being abused or neglected,

 with seueral
    thousand dying as a result.

 Child abuse is a tragedy 

that comes in a uariety of forms:

 physical

  emotional,and  sexual and neglect.



 Often, there aren't any warning signs,

 and the hurt is on the inside.
