1 lb. Fresh shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 onion
2 bell peppers (one red, one green for color)
4 roma tomatoes
Fresh mushrooms
1/2 bottle dry white wine
Barbeque sauce (spicey cajun)
Marinate shrimp in wine for at least 3 hours.
Alternate shrimp and
vegatables
on skewer.......
Cook for 6-9 minutes on hot grill turning a
few times
and
brushing on barbeque sauce.
Grilled Steak with Hot Sweet Onions
3 large onions, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 beef loin T-bone or porterhouse steaks, cut
1 inch thick (8
ounces
each)
Arrange sliced
onions on large square of heavy-duty foil. In
small bowl,
combine honey and mustard; drizzle
over onions. Sprinkle with salt,
paprika
and pepper.
Fold foil loosely around onions and seal edges tightly.
Grill
packet, on covered grill, over medium-hot heat
20 minutes or until
onions are
tender; turn once.
Slash
any fat around edge of steaks every 4 inches. About 5
minutes
after
onions start to grill, place steaks on grill
with onion packet. Grill 8
to 10
minutes on each side
for medium-rare or to desired doneness. Serve
onions
on
top of each steak.
