12-eggs.med
8 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
12 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
1 oz. anise liquid
Hand mix-mold-add color
to each section if you wish
to divide for the holidays.
Bake in 350 degree oven
and bake for 12-15 minutes

WACKY CAKE
(this cake mixes and bakes
right in the pan...NO CLEANUP!)

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 Tlbs. dry cocoa (3 oz. in measuring
cup)
2 tsp. soda
Sift dry ingredients into large un-greased
pan (9x13) and add the following:
2 cups water
2 Tlbs. vinegar
3/4 cup melted butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
Mix well (right in the pan!) and bake in
350 oven 25-30 min. Cool in pan. Add
frosting of your choice...cream cheese
frosting is delicious!

CHOCOLATE FROSTING
4 Tbs.. milk
4 Tbs.. cocoa
1 stick margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar.
Boil milk, cocoa, and butter
and vanilla for 1 minute.
Mixture will look curdled.
Pour over powdered sugar.
Beat with mixture until smooth.
Frosts one 2 layer cake.

TRI-BERRY PIE
Serves 8
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups fresh Raspberries
1 1/2 cups fresh Strawberries; rinsed, hulled, and sliced
1 cup fresh Blueberries
9-inch Prepared Pastry Shell
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
3 Tbs. Cornstarch
1 1/2 cups Water
1 package Strawberry Gelatin (4-serving size)
1 8-oz. carton Whipping Cream
In a large mixing bowl, combine all three berries and
pour the mixture into the prepared pastry shell.
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and cornstarch.
Gradually stir in the water until a smooth mixture is
formed. Making sure to stir constantly, cook the mixture
over medium-high heat setting until it comes to a boil.
Boil for one minute and remove the mixture from the
heat.
Stir in the strawberry gelatin until dissolved. Let the
mixture cool to room temperature and pour it over the
berries in pastry shell.
Refrigerate the berry pie for 3 hours prior to serving.
Whip the fresh cream just before serving and spread
evenly over the entire pie, then slice and serve.

Chocolate Chess Pie
1½ cups sugar
3½ tablespoons cocoa (optional)
Pinch of salt (optional)
2 eggs, beaten
¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add
eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla; mix
thoroughly. Pour into pie crust and
bake at 350º for 45 to 50 minutes.
Yield: one 9-inch pie.
