    We met Kristi at the Crouzon's Listserver to which  we belonged back in April, 1997 - John was also subscribed at the time but recieving a digest version (that means all the e-mails compiled into one within a period of time).   It was very interesting to see what happened as subscriber of a listserver for people with rare craniofacial conditions like Crouzon's, Apert's & Arhinia (Kristi's condition).  It gave a sense of belonging and support never experienced... Kristi is one of those person that you immediately like! She was very active, extremely intelligent and very knowledgeable in any kind of Internet, HTML, Chat Room, Software or Hardware topic.  Not only is she knowledgeable she's also a "natural teacher" - it's very easy for her to lead others into downloading new applications and learning the tricks of it!! Thanks to Kristi I'm a CyberAddict!!! LOL!! I downloaded mIRC, used Hotmail as a free e-mail provider, and AOL's Instant Messenger... Well... Kristi and I started e-mailing frequently to the list.. and soon enough it was clear that we were going to be best of friends... Her Sept/97 surgery happened and I had the urge to call her.. and I did!! Amazingly we talked for a long time and felt like we've known each other for a long time!!! On Nov. 10/97 - John started e-mailing so Kristi became Gisela's confidant.. she knew every emotion felt, every e-mail written.. she was even reading the e-mails recieved and replied to John!!! When Gisela decided to declare her love to John - Kristi was the one who pushed Gisela to declare her love.. she even read the e-mail sent to John!!! See... Kristi was an essential part of Our CyberLove Story.. She was there with Gisela & John along the way.. witnessing the romance as it progressed!! She crosschecked John with some common known friends The Valentine's (Mr. Jim Valentine worked with John in the state of Kentucky) When the time arised to make a big decision.. Kristi was there.. when loneliness, confusion, frustration, anger or just plain rut  hit Gisela's life.. Kristi was there.. There were many lunch hours spent chatting with Kristi via mIRC.. and in the late hours at work.. they are now special memories.. Now.. that the CyberLove Story has become a living fairytale.. it is trully a blessing to count on Kristi's friendship.. When we got to meet her on Memorial Day Weekend.. May 23-24/98 - it was great!! She's the most sensible sweetest person we've ever met!! She was real! And we found out that her parents are amazingly good people!! No wonder she's such a great human being!! Andy & Jackie - You are the greatest!! Kristi... thank you for your friendship, for your sensitivity, for being happy for us.. for being there for Gisela (all the time) for knowing everything about us (and still being our friend!)
