We chose to call our home school Golden Rule Christian Academy because of what the golden rule means. We want to always do our best to treat others as we would like them to treat us. This is the main rule of our home. The rule comes from Matthew 7:12 and says: "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets."

We chose to home school more than 7 years ago. We have 2 students at this time. At this time, they are 15 and 17 years old. The curriculum we use is Switched On Schoolhouse. This is our first year with SOS. We have tried many other things. And I am sure that we are not yet done.
