The key to good jumping
is rhythm, balance and patience. If a horse feels a slight hesitation from
the rider, when approaching a jump, then the horse starts to feel unsure
and that is how many refusals occur,(trust me, I know, it's happened to
me many times!!).
Jumping is also
a type of riding that if you have a bad experience, you can lose your confidence
and it may take a while to regain it. That is what happened to me.
