Prayer: "10"

Bible Scripture: 1 Chronicles 16: 29
Give to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness!....


Sovereign God, gracious Father, blessed Redeemer, inspiring Spirit, I worship You for Your faithfulness, lovingkindness, judgment and mercy. The offering I bring to my worship is myself. Nothing in my hands I bring; simply to Your grace I cling.

I worship You in wonder and winsomeness, joy and gladness, delight and dependence. The blessedness of belonging to You is the beauty of holiness I have to offer in my worship. All that I have and am belongs to You. The life You have given me is Yours, the blessings You've given me are because of Your goodness and my triumph in the future is assured only as I trust in You alone.

May this whole day be spent in worship of You. I seek to worship You in my work, my talk and my thoughts. I commit this day to practicing Your presence in the sublime and simple, with people of great and no reputation and in duties that bring me recognition and those that only You see. To You be the glory!
