Murphy's Mommy

Now, it's Mommy's turn to talk to you. After all, it's the least I can do for letting me use her computer!

Thank you, Murphy! Well, you have come here to learn a little about Murphy's Mom. I'm pretty boring, but I'll tell you a little about myself anyway. I'm known in the computer world as Eve and I am a SINGLE twenty-something. I was born in Miami, Florida. I am the oldest of two kids. My parents, my brother and I moved to Georgia when I was 6 years old. After I graduated from high school, I went to college at Saint Louis University from 1991-1995. I currently live in Atlanta where I work as a physical therapist.

I have many interests outside of the physical therapy world. My biggest interest is watching and studying Major League Baseball. I became a baseball fan in 1982 when I went to my first Atlanta Braves game. The Braves played the Reds and we won! I can't remember the score. I quickly learned the game and learned about the Braves franchise. My favorite Braves growing up were Dale Murphy (of course!), Phil Niekro, Bruce Benedict, and Glenn Hubbard. I am proud to say that I am still a Braves fan as I survived the dark mid to late 1980s. My favorite current Braves include Tom Glavine and Kevin Millwood. I enjoy going to Turner Field to watch the game in person or watch it on TV. GO BRAVES IN 2000!!!

My other interests include collecting Precious Moments figurines, watching hockey (Go Blues and Thrashers!), and college football, walking, reading, watching movies, playing on the internet, and, of course, playing with Murphy! My current favorite TV shows are Frasier, South Park, That 70's Show and The Simpsons. I also enjoy Seinfeld and The Golden Girls reruns. My favorite musical performer is Billy Joel (who you are listening to right now) and I've been fortunate to see him three times in concert. I also enjoy to travel, although I have not visited a lot of places.

Well, I can't think of anything else right now. I hope you have enjoyed Murphy's site and that you will come back often. If you've made it to the bottom of this page, I want to personally thank you for staying awake as you read about my boring life! :-)

Some pictures of me:

Here I am standing in front of Dale Murphy's number 3 at Turner Field.

One of the happiest times for me...graduation from physical therapy school! Of course, Mom and Dad were happy, too!

My day living in the lap of luxury in the Club Level at Turner Field. Thanks, Fastball!
