Knowing that she, Martha Jane "Mattie" (Linton) Presley, was dying, Mattie made this little black suit for her son, Isaac Martin Presley, to wear to her funeral. Isaac Martin said he remembered his mother sitting up in bed while she was sick and dying of breast cancer sewing this little black suit for him to wear to her funeral. He was 3 years old when she died. She is buried at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield, Ky. near Taylorsville. She does not have a tombstone and no burial records exist.
