Hi, I'm Partridgelady!!

Welcome, welcome to a very, very special place. We're so happy
that you found us here. This is a secret place, meaning, it's a
secret!!! Only special people are finding their way here to our
home in the future. We will move here in a couple years when
we finish our "gathering". This is a spot we've reserved for the
happiness of "grandparenting". We've been searching for this
special place on Torch Lake for many years. It's not a new area
for us, as our family has visited this part of Michigan for many,
many years in the past. We have loved it for a long time.

These are the trees in the woods leading to our new house.
We can't wait until Spring to see the trillium and other woodland
wildflowers blooming on the forest floor.

Hello, Door! We are Sharon and Dean, your new family and we can't
wait to live here within your walls. When we enter we will start a
new dream. Through you will pass the nicest family, our Dave, Dori
and Dennis and their families. Let's see, we also have Kim and
Evan, Teresa, Denny and Shayna. And through you will also pass,
the greatest friends, made of people we love and new friends we
don't even know yet. Our treasures are our God and Father,
our family and friends and each other.

Hello, Library!! Wait until you see your new friends, our books, but they are our friends too so you'll get along well. We will spend some nice quiet hours here.

Hello, Kitchen!! Right here, kitchen, the heart of the home, you know it, we know it. Grandkids will gather here, Evan, Denny, Shayna and more. We will make cookies, and messes but we'll clean you up aain. You'll be here so we can nourish our bodies, help us grown old and healthy. Our friends will stand at this counter, they always do. For you are the heart of the home.

Hello, Dining Room!! My you are small but we'll make room for everyone as we celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving and each other. We'll do crafts here, we'll pay bills here, we'll visit and share. We may even eat here.

Hello, Family Room!! How nice to meet you. You're right here where you belong, next to the food!! You're our gathering place. Through your eyes, these windows, we see the lake, oh how we have dreamed of your lake, so beautiful in its turquoise gown, flowing. We see the sparkling jewels of the sunsets flowing through the cool fabric.

Hello, bedroom for us. We fall into your lovely bed after a busy fun, fabulous day on the lake with our loved ones. We'll continue to have dreams here for our future. We may make you bigger with a sun room attached in which to spend sunny days reading.

Hello, Closet!!Boy, do we have plans for you and the bathroom. You are very small but we'll fix you up. And hello, bathroom. You'll see the worst of us before we freshen up for our day here at the Torch. Please don't tell our secrets!!

Hello, Guest Bedroom!!Oh, you're naked!! Excuse us, you wait, our old red, white and blue will adorn you soon. Your bed went with the former owners but we'll need to put some furniture here for the family and friends to visit. Your windows look out onto our driveway, to see whose coming to dinner.

Hello, BunkBed Room!! Oh boy, fun for our grandkids, they can't wait to climb up to the top. Grandpa better get to work and make bedrails so you don't fall out. It's mighty high up there. Evan and Denny will love it up at the top and a bottom bunk is waiting for Princess Shayna. It will be just right for her.

Hello Loft!!We have "lofty" plans for you and your beautiful perch, your eyes onto the lake. The huge windows will be the backdrop for our computer desk so we can work and enjoy the view at the same time. Your walls will be home to our wildlife collage, we'll bring our comfy chairs and tv up here and your day bed will be handy for just lounging around. We'll peer over your railing to family room below to keep track of everyone.

Hello, Dock!! You will lead us to the fun of the lake. Kids will jump from you and splash and have a great time. Your feet are anchored in the turquoise water of the greatest lake in the world. If you look closely, you can count 5 different colors in the lake, at this particular time. This picture was taken at the first sunset on the B's Torch Lake. It is the first of many in the years to come.
