It Must Be Time For Cocoa
It must be time for cocoa,
Perhaps a piece of pie.
God is throwing marshmallows,
Softly from the sky.
The sun was out much earlier today,
A chill was in the air,
But now it's gray, the lake is still,
And I'm curled up in my chair.

It must be time for cocoa,
My nose and toes are chilled.
The sun has dipped below the clouds,
The sky with snow is filled.
My heart is sad, my thoughts are blue,
My spirits somehow low.
God is truly telling me,
"My Child it's time for cocoa".

Christmas has come and gone again,
The tree is still aglow.
When 12th nite comes, we'll take it down,
While sipping our cocoa.
A fire is set in our new fireplace,
It's embers warm and bright.
My "Judy" quilt is 'round me wrapped,
It will soon be night.

Hubby's here, he's always near,
Oh how I love him so.
God is throwing marshmallows,
It must be time for cocoa.
