1934    F.E. Horton retired from Western Union Telegraph Co.
1935-40 RCH worked as a caddy on the golf course
1937    RCH graduated from 9th grade in Oradell NJ
        school band and orchestra

1937-40 attended Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood NJ
        graduated in 1940
        1940 won track team state championship
        ran first quarter mile leg of mile relay
1939    Albert Utter died July 7th.
1939-40 worked at "No-Be-Bo-Sco" Boy Scout ranch in the summer
1940    attainded Eagle Scout Award
1940/42 atteneded University of Florida in Gainswille

        started a major in engineering
1942    Enlisted in Coast Artillery 8/6/42 at Ft. Monroe VA

1943    Transferred to Army Air Corps
