Houston Rodeo 2000-February 18-March 5

Sat. Feb. 12th was the hay hauling contest. Grand-daughter, Rusty Horn and her team placed 24th our of 65 teams.

Friday Feb. 25th, Grand-daughter Jody Horn showed her Limousin Heifer, HAPPY GIRL, They took 8th place out of 14 in her class.

Goliad, Texas judging team. Tuesday Feb. 29th, Jody 4-H team judged in the Houston Stock show. Jody team placed 4th out of 311 teams. They walked away with a beautiful plaque. As an individual Jody placed 29th out of 1244 4-H members Richard Ball, Mandy Parr, Jody Horn, Wendi Parkinson, Darlynn Horn, & Wesley Ball

I think YeeHaw say it all when you see Great-grandson Garrett riding his bike. Diann, Sheila, and Garret came to visit. Sheila and Garrett came running in the house, Garrett kept saying it is a miracle, Nana it is a miracle, Come see. Keven had taught him how to ride his bike with out the training wheels. Nana hasn't talked to Keven, but I think it is a pretty good guess that when he rode the first time with out falling Keven words were, it is a miracle Diann and grandson Garrett

Thursday, March 16 Jody showed her goat and took 2nd place.

Friday, March 17 Jody showed HAPPY GIRL and took 1st place in her class.

Then Jody and Happy girl took GRAND CHAMPION
