Intercessory Prayer
Introduction

The very first thing that must be in operation before an Operation Outreach can be established in a community, is a committed, seasoned, mature intercessory prayer team of at least two or more individuals. Without this established first and foremost, it is very doubtful that God is beginning an Operation Outreach at this time in this particular community.
Dedicated, scheduled prayer done on a regular basis is the bloodflow of the Operation Outreach body. Without it, there is little to no real life to the organization. With it, there is a mighty Power Source consistently surging through every vein of its structure. No foe will be able to withstand the force and the might that is behind all of heaven backing each effort put forth to implement the love of Jesus Christ in your community.
Because of prayer, energy is furnished to do the work and needs are met in an endless supply. Unity is maintained corporately as each praying person is linked together in a bonding effort with... one mind, one heart and one mouth in operation.
Without intercessory prayer, the spirit of strife destroys everything in sight like a raging fire set aflame from hell. Individual, and especially corporate prayer, ignites a different kind of flame. Fervent (passionate), effectual prayer sets aflame the Holy Spirit of God; an all-consuming Fire which establishes the purpose of God in the hearts and lives of mankind.
Prayer is not only the lifeblood flow of Operation Outreach, but it is also the mortar to the foundation-building stages of the organization that later holds the building together...
