hi there, i'm daisy!

a.k.a. "daisy mae" and "oops-a-daisy"

i'm k.d.'s new baby. i was born in iowa, but texas is where me and my mommy live most of the time. i'm really cute, and i even know how to use a litter box! (of couse, that doesn't mean that i always do use it). i'm a runner, not a cuddler, but i'm also very calm when someone does want to pet me. of course, they have to catch me first!

i was born on november 14, 1999. i am mature, although mommy still babies me. i love chicken and some fresh fruits, ice cream, and human fingers! i also like to run and poop on my wheel, but i don't think my mommy likes that last part :)

my mommy got some chocolate valentine candy.

i like chocolate : )

in march 2000, mommy took me on a trip to south dakota to meet my great-grandma (mommy's grandma). she and her husband are very nice and love me very much.

in april 2000, my mommy took me on a trip to arkansas. we went to a hedgehog show, and we got to meet tons of cool hedgies. did you know that not all hedgehogs look like me? yeah! some are white, and some are a cool peachy color. some are big, some are little, and some are grouchy!     at the hedgehog show, i got to show off my stuff. i competed against other hedgies, and won second place in my class (standard juvenile female). then mommy dressed me up as a butterfly for the costume contest. actually, my wings fell off, so i was a caterpillar. i won "sexiest costume." i won a ribbon and a hedgiebag--but the hedgiebag is my favorite, because i can sleep in it!!

    i am NOT a chick!

i'm really a dallas stars fan, but this was the only jersey brett hull had that was small enough to fit me (it's from his days with st. louis -- evidently it shrunk in the wash!)

i love hockey -- just not the clothes!

  ahh, the smell of victory!

either i'm really big, or this stanley cup thing is a lot smaller than it looks on tv :)

this summer, mommy took me back to iowa for a little while. it was fun to play outside. i loved to run through the grass, and try to slip past my mommy and run into the "jungle."
