How
to obtain a Translation of the sites you are visiting!
|
|
In
order to obtain a translation of any of these sites named above go to the
AltaVista Search Engine (http://www.altavista.digital.com)
and enter this URL into the Location line or the Open box of your Netscape
Browser. Click on the Alta Vista Translations folder, choose Italian to
English, type in the entire URL. For example, if you wanted an English
translation of the link above called "Travel Europe - Abruzzo coastline",
you would type in the URL: http://www.traveleurope.net/abrucost.htm
into the box provided by AltaVista for this purpose. At this point simply
submit the request and the page will come back translated into English.
Note that this is a crude translation but it does help to get the idea
of the page in which you are interested. If it does not work properly the
first time try it again with some other pages until you become familiar
with the procedure.
If
this does not work for you try selecting all of the text and copying it
then pasting it into the AltaVista Translation Services box (The Edit Menu
enables select, copy & paste).
Another
possibility is to purchase translation software for $29.95 from SYSTRAN
Translation Software (http://www.systransoft.com/).
You can download it from their web site. I am not sure of the quality of
this software compared to the AltaVista Translation Services translation
software.
Note:
Always try to use the copy and paste feature in the Edit Menu for more
accurate and speedier results. |

This
Abruzzo Site is dedicated to the loving and respected memory of my long
suffering, hard working, and self sacrificing Father, Vincenzo Mario Blasiotti,
who was born in the US and raised in the lovely town of Giulianova, Abruzzo,
Italy and ultimately returned to the US. His career was spent working
as an highly skilled carpenter always performing top quality workmanship.
He taught me respect for my Italian heritage and culture and for the solid
traditions of the Abruzzo people. May God bless and have mercy
on his soul! |
