James was born August 22, 1961. Attened McMinn High School
for 12 years , but did not graduate, but got his GED diploma two years.He
has four Children, namely: Nikki Johnkins,Cassie Upton-Benton,who was President
of student council,has participated in Track and Cross Country all through
Junior High and High School. She has finished her associate at San Jacinto College in Texas, she has earned a degree in psychology from the University of Houston. Nikki has finished her Associates of Science in college at Hiwassee College in Madisonville,Tennessee, where she has accepted a $2,000 Scholastic
Achievement Scholarship. Brett and Brian started their 10th grade at McMinn High school in Athens, TN. Just had my first Great Granddaughter , name Destiny Jade Benton.Now a second granddaughter name Kirra Naomi
