Charles E. McClure Jr.
Born June 27,1953 at Hamilton Air Force Base, Ca. He attended J.L Cook
High School in Athens,Tn. He was the first to intergrate Forrest Hill Grammar
School in Athens,Tn.1965 .
He went on to graduate from McMinn High School with honors. He later
attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he received his
bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering. He began his career as
a co-op student with NASA Space center in Huntsville,Al. He then went on
to a career with General Electric Corp which was also located in Huntsville
which led to a move to Orlando,Fl. After they change the name to Lockheed-Martin.Charlie
was married to Connie Gray who attended Southern University in Baton Rough,La
where she graduated with a B.S. degree in Computers,then she went to get
her degree in Nursing as a RN. Now she is presently enrolled in Engineering
School. They have one son named Corey.Charlie Passed away, God rest his
soul, on March 6, 1996.
