Prayer Request For Healing From Addiction

Pray for strength to overcome

Hello

I am a single guy who has left the Amish church and I am going to community church right now , I am 31 yrs old .

I got a addiction of going to strip clubs about once or twice a month or or seeing what is on the web and could you pray I would have the courage to get help and get set free from this sin I have struggled with this for a long time now and I need help in this area

MATTIE'S PRAYER FOR ADDICTION

Lord, Heal Today

Lord, I pray for Amos.

Lord you are so faithful in helping us when we call upon you. Lord, you have ever answered my prayers in healing me when I was sick with cancer and the doctors said that I only had 3 months to live.

Lord, you told me that if I would do what you told me to do in James 5:14-18: "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (KJV)" that you would heal me.

Lord I praise you for you have been faithful to Your word to me and in your Book.

Lord, it is no harder for you to heal Amos than it was for you to heal me. Lord I was sick and you healed me. Lord, Amos has confessed his fault and asked for healing in his mind and soul to overcome this addiction. Lord, heal him as you did me.

Lord, if he has committed sins, Lord, I ask you to forgive him of those sins, cleanse his mind and fill him with your Holy Spirit so that he will have Your power to live a life that is acceptable to you and to himself.

Lord, take away any guilt as he confesses them to you. Brng peace to his mind and soul.

I thank you Lord, for his reaching out to your church for healing. Lord, I praise you for your grace and mercy to us and your loving kindness to me and to Amos.

Thank you Jesus,

Be encouraged Amos. Jesus loves you and will give you the strength to overcome all the things that would hinder you in your walk with him.

Have you been born again? If not, just say, "Lord, forgive me of my sins and save my soul and take me to heaven when I die. I believe that you are the son of God and my Savior. Fill me with your Holy Spirit today and help me overcome all the evil that has entered to affict my soul. I believe that you are the healer and can heal me and that you will. Thank you Jesus for healing me and giving me the power to overcome this addiction!
