Irish Wolfhounds & Greyhound
Photo Album

The Reinagle Hound exemplifies the Irish Greyhound of yore. An Englishman, Captain Graham, was responsible for re-establishing the breed of Irish Wolfhounds in the late 1800s. He stated that the Reinagle hound is what the Irish Wolfhound should resemble in outline.

Cruiser, my beloved rescue Greyhound, went to the Rainbow Bridge in September of 1999. He will be missed by me and his many running buddies.

CH. Glenamadda Kellyscot Fantasia (Asia) will do anything for cookies. She joins Harper and Jedi regularly for our run with Sonja, the Yorkie , Mutt-Mutt, the one of a kind and Flynn, the Irish Wolfhound.

She is currently living with her best friend Indra who spoils her no end.

Huck Finn, one of Harper's litter mates, lives in British Columbia. He is much loved by his family and is young Molly's best buddy.

While showing is not my first interest, I do show at specialties and some all-breed shows.

CH.Kellyscot Glenamadda Harper taking final points towards his Canadian Championship in October 1998.

CH.Glenamadda Kellyscot HazoCrazo, Harper's sister, taking Best of Breed at the Gazehound Ontario Specialty in August 1998. Hazo is shown and loved by Kerry Koller of Houndhouse kennel. Hazo also did very well under English breeder judge Terry Thorn at the Irish Wolfhound Club of Canada Booster show in Bracebridge, Ontario in July,1998. She took Best of Opposite Sex in competition against several other females.

CH.Glenamadda Kellyscot Hallelujah,CD,CGC, Harper's other sister taking final points for her championship. She had her CD and received her Canine Good Citizens award at the American National Specialty at Lake Placid, NY in June 1998. Her owners, Pat and Tom Brown and her co-breeder and co-owner Susan Prokopenko are very pleased with her success in the show and obedience rings and with her steady and outgoing personality, so typical of Irish Wolfhounds in general but really remarkable in her and her litter mates, Harper, Hazo, Finn and others.

The four-generation Glenamadda/Kellyscot hounds. From left to right, Glenna, next, her mother Asia, grandmother Magic' head is visible next to Lissa, Asia's sister. Lissa is flanked by her son Harper. In the foreground, Glenna's son, Jedidiah, now lives with me.

Glenamadda Houndhouse Jedidiah, Jedi for short, has joined us in November 1999. In this photo, at seven months, he is a typical puppy that delights in discovering all things new and interesting. His temperament is rambunctious. He is now a teenager up to challenging his older buddy Harper. He and Flash play like puppies, with Flash believing that he is an Irish Wolfhound and Jedi thinking that he is a Whippet.

Jedi, is now 2 years and has been shown sparingly. He is pointed and has taken a second place in his class at the September 1999 IWCC Regional Specialty in Ottawa Canada.

Since September, Glenamadda Millennium Flash, the Whippet puppy has come to take over Cruiser's place. He is the true trouble maker in this house of hounds. He starts fights and leaves when things get too serious. Right now,Flash is running the roost.
