Our Web Rings

Notice: I'm cheating a little with this list. I'm not sending you to the rings themselves, I'm sending you to my pages that they're on. This page is a description of the ring itself and where to find it.

Homesteader's Web Ring ~ On my "About This Site" page, I joined the Homesteader's Web Ring. This is a quiet, small group of people dedicated to homesteading. The ring is simplicity itself. I'm working on some 'homesteader art' drawings, but currently, it's just bare bones links to the member sites. Some of the addresses are absolutely breathtaking. When you have a chance, check out Singing Falls and Cornerstone from this ring.

Goat Web Ring ~ I knew when Stephen Kraft (Alpine Haus) put this web ring up, I wanted to be a part of it. Unfortunately, I had to wait over a year until I had a site of my own to participate, and by then, I was 140th in the queu. But, if you want an 'almost complete' list of goat owners on the web, this is the ring to peruse.

League Of Renaissance Merchants ~ This link is only slightly out of character for our site. When I created my soap information pages, I knew there are a dozen or more toiletries type of web rings that are very popular. My idea was to create a niche on another web ring that upholds 'ye olde cottager', one where all manner of hand crafting art still exists. For a great diversion, while you're surfing the 'net', be sure to go here for a taste of the Medieval.

Seed Saver's Web Ring ~ Since I had a lengthy article on the merits of saving your own open pollinated vegetable seeds, it stands to reason I would be eager to support companies and others who share the same ideas. Besides being a beautiful image itself, the link in this ring goes to many gardening and product sites. I have it listed on my Garden home page.

OTHER: I am looking for a few good web rings! I have yet to find one in the Kitchen section that I would enjoy participating in. All too often, cooks tend to be overzealous with recipe-sharing, and the web rings reflect this overwhelming abundance. And, I plan on joining the Camelid (llama folk) webring as soon as I have more information on my 'Other Critters' pages. I do have lots of great links to other sites in all these areas.

So, sit back, put your feet up next to a cozy virtual fire, and visit some of my friend's sites.
