Galveston

The sandy beach
Afternoon sun, blue sky

Families enjoying the white sand and crashing surf
Water temperature pleasant

Children making sand castles
Adults of all ages frolicking in the waves
as they stream to hit the waiting shore

Young mothers sitting on the wet sand with year-old children
Holding them close but letting the light surf
play around their bodies and feet

Standing out on a sand bar
Feeling the waves crash on our bodies
while hugging each other close

Sparkling eyes of pleasure
laughing as white-capped waves
threaten to dump us into the water

We feel so close together today,
our feelings are tuned to each other
We seem to totally enjoy these times that are special

They are dates to us;
times spent as if we were still courting
Well, why not??

Age has no barrier on romance
And any moments spent together
mean a lovely memory to relate to

Marriage should not end romance
Each day and night shall be as warm and loving
