The Ultimate Beauty
Beautiful colours, warm and graceful
Where once was a small coil of skin
Now a butterfly's short life begins
Flittering, fluttering hither and fro
Not really caring a direction to go
Bright lavender wings, touch of blue
To attract others in the morning dew
Graceful wings moving up and down
Swirl amongst the flowers and bush
Near the most summer ground.
Many butterflies, so many different hues
Ahhhh, how I wish your splendor can last forever.
But with every dying, flying beauty,
Another takes its place
For this bleak, colorless earth we know
Shall thrive in nature's grace
The world of the butterfly gives its
Beauty to our hueless space.
